The Men's Topo Athletic Ultraventure 4 is the same high cushion all-terrain trail shoe customers in and around Salida, Colorado have come to love. It has a wide forefoot, snug mid foot and secure heel. The Topo Athletic Ultraventure 4 retains the famous ZipFoam™ midsole keeping it responsive and lightweight. You can rely on the Vibram® XS Trek EVO Outsole to keep your foot secure on loose terrain and transition smoothly over hard surfaces. The biggest complaint about the previous edition was the durability of the upper from runners, thru-hikers on the Colorado Trail and Continental Divide Trail on technical terrain. Topo has retained a lightweight and breathable recycled mesh upper but placed polyurethane on overlays critical areas to prevent rips and tears in the mesh. Topo has done what most brands refuse to do by keeping everything that was good about Men's Topo Ultraventure and simply updating the mesh that users were critical about.

The addition of polyurethane overlays on critical points means this addition is significantly more durable and ready for hard daily trail use.

This beaded TPU insole allows for increased transpiration of the moisture off the foot and out of the shoe.

· ZipFoam™ Midsole

TOPO updated their ZipFoam™ midsole and added it to the Men's Topo Ultraventure 4. This updated ZipFoam™ compound allows the shoe to be more responsive, more cushioned, more protective all while reducing weight.
